I felt that something in my house was exerting a negative influence, which seemed to be permeating the walls. The house healing identified an old chest to be the cause of the problem.
As soon as the chest had been cleansed by smudging (purified by the smoke from burning sage leaves), the atmosphere lightened. The bad energy was gone.

I live in a thatched cottage, at least 300 years old. People were small then, so the cottage is too. If you are much over 6ft, you will have to cut off your head in order not to bump it severely every time you stand up straight. When I moved in, it was full of spiders and atmosphere. The atmosphere was oppressive and negative. The spiders are still there, but the atmosphere has gone. Lifted like the lid of Pandora’s Box, which let fly the mischievous spirits inside it.
