Sue Curtis MNFSH
My background is in Financial Services and I am a keen photographer.
On discovering the ability to channel Healing energy, in 1998 I became a Probationer member of the National Federation of Spiritual Healers (NFSH) and began to study Healing formally under their auspices. In 2003 I became a Full Healer Member of the NFSH. I am also a member of the British Society of Dowsers.
My involvement with Healing of Place came as a result of a strange phenomenon which occurred in my own home in Dorset:
One night I was disturbed by my partner getting up in the early hours of the morning to go to the bathroom. Normally, he would do this quietly, but on this occasion he made quite a racket, stomping down the hall and slamming the bathroom door shut behind him. I drifted back to sleep, but heard him stomping back down the hallway and rattling the doorknobs. In the morning I remarked to him about the noise he made when he got up in the night, to which he replied,
“I did’nt get up – I heard someone walking around and going into the bathroom and thought it was you making all that noise”
I assured him I did’nt get up either, then we realised we had “company”.
I reported this disturbance to a friend of mine who put me onto Roy and Anne Proctor who are experienced House Healers. I provided them with details of my address and a description of the events which had taken place. They dowsed my home from a distance and established there was a presence in the house which they said,
“Is not doing you any harm – its just stuck”.
We think the presence was an elderly gentleman who had lived in the house many years earlier. We felt that moving him on was for his benefit as much as ours – after all who wants to spend eternity going up and down to the bathroom?
They then moved the presence on, and neutralised a negative energy line running through the property while they were at it. I was much impressed by this healing work and decided it was something I would like to learn about and practice. There must be so many homes with stuck or negative energy which would greatly benefit from healing. I also liked the fact that it could be done remotely without anyone trudging round the property. To this end I received formal tuition in 2008 under the auspices of the British Society of Dowsers from Nick Riley, himself a student of Roy and Anne Proctor.
Channelling healing energy, whether to people, animals or places is a great service as it is gentle and unintrusive, yet so very effective.
